JBL 38-Special Northwest Spear Gun - This is the Northwest edition of the 38-Special. It has an open muzzle, which allows for faster and easier loading of the spearshaft. These guns are most suitable for spearfishing among reefs and rocks where heavy penetration is needed but range is not critical. The Northwest edition also has 1 additional sling band (3 total) as well as larger, thicker slings than the standard 38-Special.
